Margherita Nuti was born in Fiesole (Florence) in 1986. Graduated in Archival Sciences with a focus on photographic archives, she trained as a photographer in Rome at the “Centro Sperimentale di Fotografia”. During the roman experience she collaborated in two editions of the FOTOGRAFIA International Festival of Rome. As a professional photographer, she collaborates with the Center for Contemporary Art - Luigi Pecci, Metastasio Theater and the French Academy in Rome - Villa Medici. Since 2016 she works with the Gianni Melotti Archive and is one of the founding members of Sedici, a group of free-lance photographers that aims to create and promote cultural events in order to expand the knowledge of contemporary photography. She carries on personal projects focused on self-portrait, identity, gender-based violence and man's relationship with nature. Her works have been exhibited at the Palazzo delle Esposizioni, Centro per l'Arte Contemporanea Luigi Pecci and Dryphoto Arte Contemporanea.
